I know it’s a small thing but I notice it every time I open a book mark that instead of one click to bring up the list (it’s always bookmarks selected rather than recent pages and one to click as I’m normally always in the same folder. Now it’s one to bring up the menu then one to book marks then unless I’ve been in bookmarks in the last 5 mins it’s gone back to the top folder so select the folder and then the bookmark. So normally 4 clicks instead of 2.

After playing with Safari over the last couple of weeks, I think Apple made a mistake with the GUI and I miss iOS 18 Safari. Going to the tab view requires an extra tap compared to the old version. Is there a way to go back to it? I honestly felt like the previous design was perfectly fine. If it ain't broke, why fix it?

Have you tried swiping up on the url bar? Looks to be working for me in beta 3.

You're right! It's way better now, but I can't help but feel if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Safari on iOS 18 simply looks and feels functionally better. Apple is simply trying to address something that wasn't a problem to begin with. They should just spend the time and effort to improve WebKit.
