hi

im new to mac, im finding a software that can download video clips from the web straight away.

Also, i cant even see video clips on some generic websites, will having quicktime pro fix the problems?

Please light me up, thanks

RealPlayer works with videos in Youtube. Have not tried other web sites.

I just use Safari by itself. Go to Window -> Activity and find the video (it will have a much larger size than everything else, and will likely say XX of XX if it’s still loading, making it easier to find. Hold option and double click that, or just copy and paste it into the downloads windows, and voila.

Also, what generic video types? For playing videos, you’re gonna want to install Perian and the free Flip4Mac components. Flip4Mac allows you to play Windows Media files, and Perian allows you to play a ton of others, and they both work through QuickTime.
