Good day to everyone. Idk if its some sort of a rare bug or smth because you can hardly find any discussion of this, but I need your help.

When I just got iPhone 16 Pro, right from the box with iOS 18.3.1, it's going through battery optimization for less than 24 hours. At that time the battery was draining noticeably, but right after that the experience was so so gooood!

After updating on iOS 18.3.2 - everything changed in a bad way and I started to notice FindMy app as a background activity 24/7. I even turned off it completely, turned off location access for it, turned off Apple Intelligence and Siri access in every app settings. But it was completely no difference in battery performance. HOW??

I even installed iOS with Finder using my macbook, applying backup after. Nothing changed.

Was hoping that iOS 18.4 gonna fix this, but it didn't. Same exact FindMy drain 24/7, even if it's turned off, even if it's deleted.
Help please!

Well, maybe 2 things you can have a look at.
One is to go to icloud on the net and make sure find my is turned off there.
You go to icloud.com, sign in, got to 'find my phone' and remove the device from there.
Secondly try settings>privacy and location>location services and see if it's turned off there.

It might be using a lot of battery because it can't connect though. It will try ceaselessly.
Maybe if you can make sure it stops you can enable it again and it will work properly?
It's the sort of thing you don't use until you really need it like you've lost your phone or it's been stolen then it's invaluable because not only can you find it you can disable it, leave a message, erase it.....
I'd persist if I were you.
