Finger tap gesture is in consistent in when it decides to register

Is anyone having a rough time with getting their Vision Pro to detect the tapping gesture? My hands are always clearly visible yet it seems like there are only certain hand positions where the Vision Pro can pick up the tapping gesture. If I have my thumb nail facing the Vision Pro, it miss the tapping gesture 95% of the time. I have to rotate my wrist such that Vision Pro can see the lateral side of my fingers with my index finger knuckle pointed toward the ceiling. I’ve already tried recalibrating my hands and eyes and it didn’t fix anything
