How accurate do you think the fingerprint sensor will be?

I have heard people talking of fingerprint sensors in hospitals not working 100% of the time.

Also the home button touch/Id isn't clickable in the sense that it isn't a physically clickable button?

This isn't a typical fingerprint sensor and it's a different, better brand.

That's like saying because your 1990 Toyota Civic's brakes sometimes lock up, you think all car's brakes will lock up

It is clickable.

It's amazingly accurate and a world of tech ahead of the stuff you're talking about in the hospitals.

It won't be 100% perfect but I'm sure it'll be okay, you need clean hands and can't use gloves right? Which basically negates it during the winter lol

Actually you don't even need clean hands as the sensor scans below the surface of your skin.

Because the people who make items such as that for hospitals are not a massive software company worth billions. cant just drop 300mil to aquire a company

I've used the Authentec Fingerprint Scanner for my Mac for years and has worked perfectly!! I was excited to hear when Apple bought the company, because it makes things so much simpler without passwords.

ah okay, but I'm sure it can't scan hands covered in dirt :p

I'll see when I'll inevitably get the 6, I don't like the S upgrades

Yeah. I ca't afford to upgrade every year. Besides getting tired of 4" screen, would like something around 4.5-4.8"
