I'm calling the cops
I really liked the "cutout" style. It was very well executed. :)

Out of curiosity, you say it took you 3 weeks, but how many hours do you think you put into it?

OK.

It WAS all digital.

It took maybe 15-25 hours alongside browsing macrumors and thinking of what to do next.

It was me in the video.

I did it on After Effects and Photoshop, then put it together on iMovie.

The first scene took the longest.

I think I could have done some scenes better but it was due on friday so I didn't have the time.

And the way I made the first scene:

First I went into photoshop and made the hills and stuff and added textures, layer masks, etc.

Then I made the sky with a gradient and the stars with brushes.

Then I imported everything into after effects and pushed the mountains behind the ground and the sky even further back.

I made the smoke with radio waves and blur and some tweaking.(I forgot how to enter random seed?)

The water running underground was soon with particle playground and masks.

The clouds were just some tweaked photoshop objects and I made a motion path using auto sketch.

The arrows were also on another path and I used auto-orient to make them rotate.

The rain was also just particle playground.

Good work G5Unit, looked like you had a lot of fun :)

My only little criticism is that at around the 55 second mark, the crossover of the music was not perfect. No biggy, you should be proud of your work :)

Yeh, I only have iMovie to work with.
