Hi guys!

I just moved to Manhattan and signed up for a FiOS 35/35 triple. The installation guys came last monday, worked for 6 hours and then left telling me there was a problem with the drop from the apartment to the floor (fiber was probably of a bad quality) that runs in a sealed molding.

They also told me the building is involved, someone needs to do that work that someone needs to pay for. They left me with all the boxes and cables installed, but with no service.

Now I spent hours on the phone with Verizon trying to get a hold of someone besides the clueless operators, with no luck.
I think this is a way bad start, what do you guys advice me to do? Is there a customer complaint phone, or a contact of someone inside the company to actually refer to?

I'm in the middle of nowhere, and thinking to signup with Time Warner that I used to have in LA:mad:

Have you called your building manager? If the existing wiring in the building is bad I don't see how that is VZ's problem.
