The latest nightly is quite good. The last few days, Flash interaction was terrible, but it's much better than the best it had been now.

A lot of people should be pleased.

ComputerWorld was mentioning that it would probably be late next year when Firefox 3 was out.

I am quite pleased with firefox. I have made it my main browser for now...until camino can catch up. Which might take a while. The one thing that was keeping me from switching to start was the way camino had multiple rows for the bookmarks bar. Since some nice person over at the firefox forums pointed out how to do that same thing in firefox i have switched over.

And i have to say i love the plugin Foxmarks. It makes it so simple to keep bookmarks synced between my two computers. I also have the addblock and flashblock plugins which work really well.

does anyone know if in firefox for mac you can view gmails 'buddy list' within your email page?

It always works while I'm looking at my mail through their interface.

That's a good question. Firefox version 2 seems to have a lot of options but since I don't use a proxy, I couldn't tell you.

at home I dont use one...

at work I do.

in my locations I have 'home' and 'work'.. so when i change locations i like the proxy to be set, automatically, which it does with safari (system prefs)..

I wonder if 'auto-detect proxy' will do the same, in firefox.. hrmmm

I'm back to 1.5.0.7. I had a hard time telling which tab was active with 2.0

With the default theme I completely agree. Try a different theme (like Noia, which is 2.0 compatible), and it's much easier to tell the difference.

Or wait until an extension like colorful tabs gets updated.
