Hey,
First of all, let me just say i'm not the best with computers so bear with me lol.
After running MacScan for the first time it said I had quite a few different lots of spyware currently running (Yield Manager being the most prominent). I deleted them no problem but then when I finish my next session, they appeared in the scan results again.
I then set Firefox to block all cookies, with the exceptions set for the sites that I have a need for on the whitelist. This stops all the bad stuff from coming up in the scan but it makes for a pretty annoying time browsing on Firefox as you have to keep making rules for every site you visit.
Is there a way to block the spyware that gets downloaded without having to go through all this every time? Maybe Firefox 3 has something in it that will help? I've been reading that I might need some kind of add-on that would stop all cookies being created from sites that aren't of the origin i'm currently browsing on.
Anyone got any ideas?
