I have downloaded Firefox 2 which loads as a disk image fine. However when I try to install into the applications folder it simply opens a web page. This runs the program fine, but I cannot seem to get the application into my applications folder!

Any ideas?

You have tried just dragging the app to the Applications folder haven't you?
Firefox doesn't need "installing" as such, just copying to the Applications folder.

Thanks. Stupid really, it is simply a question of dragging the globe to the folder! Works fine. It just looks like you should double click it!

You didn't notice the images in the background of the disk image folder, where it shows dragging to the Applications folder?
