Curious, besides FF3 being newer, looking slicker. What are the other advantages of upgrading? Cause I'm still using FF2.0.0.20 and other than the odd crash, it seems fine.

Cheers:)

A large reason would be support.

From http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html

Firefox 2.0.0.x will be maintained with security and stability updates until mid-December, 2008. All users are strongly encouraged to upgrade to Firefox 3.

I like the OS X interface for FF3 much better than FF2.

Firefox 3 is faster, more compatible, and much more Mac-like. I can see no reason at all to avoid upgrading.

The thing I seem to hate about FF is this...

I want or rather, would like to have a UK/US English browser and be given the option to customise my search engines to English and Non-English ones. Currently it seems to be ALL ENGLISH, or use a Japanese Application and have Japanese only searches. Arghhh!!!

I know there are plug-ins available but they seem to be tided to a particular language or region... I just can't find a way to custom the search so it uses Yahoo Japan instead of Yahoo USA. (talking about the build in search)

Try this:

I was able to put in the url to Yahoo Japan, then select the Yahoo Japan search, and it added it to my search bar.
