A bit of a strange question but here it goes... So I dl'd the latest Firefox release to a new Al Macbook, and all is fine but when I looked at the 'Get Info' of the dl'd .dmg file it has a strange date for the Created listing. Can anyone who has this release check the date they have listed under created.

Does this date not correspond to when the file was made available for dl'd; if so why is mine listed as 10+ years into the future?

Just for you, I redownloaded the .dmg :p

Upon hitting "get info" on the .dmg file, the created date is: "Today at 8:50pm"

Seriously? So the date is assigned by the system it's dl'd onto, and not the actual file. Oh, and thx for re dl'ding.

Can anyone else check their date, thanks!

My calendar/date appears to be fine... I just checked my roomate's Macbook Pro and Black Macbook and they both have the same date... January 20, 2009
And he dl'd them on the release date of February 3rd.

My Macbook says January 19, 2020!
