This is feature complete, supposed blocking bug free, almost final release. depends on feedback, this may be the final version.

new for end users:
  • changes to how we allow third party software to integrate with Firefox in order to prevent crash
  • run scripts asynchronously to speed up page load times.
  • change their browser's appearance with a single click, with built in support for Personas.
  • alert users about out of date plugins to keep them safe.
  • Open, native video can now be displayed full screen, and supports poster frames.
  • Support for the WOFF font format.
  • Improved JavaScript performance, overall browser responsiveness and startup time.
  • Support for new CSS, DOM and HTML5 web technologies.

for developers, more new and improved CSS/HTML/DOM support, javascript 1.8.2 with extended ECMAscript 5 support. Improved XUL, integration of accelerometer support. and many others

Until firefox won't eat such amount of memory after a little time of usage, this browser is dead for me :)

I think I'll wait to Firefox 4 and those all needed upgrades, like memory consumption or javascript speed.

Some time ago, extensions played an important thing chosing the browser, but now, I do almost the same with chrome extensions
