Firefox 3 causes MacBook fans to run

I have been using FF3 since it came out last week and it does seem a bit faster to me than Safari. However, it seems like if I have FF3 running, even with only 1 tab open, my MacBook's fan runs constantly (at a lowish speed but loud enough to annoy me).
Anyone else notice this?

I have a 2.0Ghz C2D MacBook with 2 gigs of RAM.

Nope. it works fine on mine, FF3 seems to be working better than safari for the moment.
