I'm sure some people have figured this out already. I just got around to playing with it tonight. In any case, I've finally got my Firefox bookmarks syncing via .Mac using the Foxmarks plugin. This allows me to keep using Firefox while maintaining the nice bookmark syncing that .Mac could do with Safari. This is what I did:
1. Install the Foxmarks plugin:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2410
2. Restart Firefox.
3. When the setup wizard comes up, press cancel.
4. Follow these steps to get the bookmarks syncing via your iDisk.

5. Enjoy synchronized bookmarks with Firefox, woot.
Hope this helps someone else.
