FireFox Advice.....?

In FireFox Browser, when you go to bookmark a website,
it saves it at the bottom of my 10 thousand bookmarks!
Then it takes 3 years to scroll down to it.......
What is the work around for this issue....?

Open your bookmarks - CMD + B then drag the favicon (the little picture next to the URL, it's an apple here at macrumors) to wherever you want it in the bookmarks bar.
