I can't watch this video, for an example, without it getting very lagy at about the 1:35 time. It starts rather pronounced too, and activity monitor shows Firefox using over 100% CPU, and the Firefox Plugin Content (Shockwave Flash) using over 25% at that same time.
And the lag effects the entire system, not surprising with the CPU load.
I've updated all the usual apps, Firefox is at 35, and Flash is at 16.0.0.287.
Anyone else experiencing this with the new Firefox/Flash combo?
Another thread I found suggested killing spindump, and it didn't help. It even starts up after a reboot.
It's way beyond annoying.
Is there any tuning that might address this?
Anyone else experiencing this?
EDIT: added link, and also to report that during the change to the next video, Firefox drops to sub-eight range, and then over time pops up to and above 100%.
But in activity monitor, what does the 'CPU LOAD' graph show? The reason I ask is that it doesn't 'red line', it just stays near the bottom... It seems to be wildly inaccurate.
