FireFox and my monitor

Hey, I just got my new Mini and set it up. I love it! I have a Samsung SyncMaster 940BW. For some reason I can't get either FF or Safari to fill the entire screen when I am on the Internet. How can I change this so that, at least with FF, it fills the wide screen. I know it is probably something simple....thanks in advance.

well you cant go full screen with osx. you have to drag the bottom right corner to change the window size
