I have Firefox on both of my grandparents computers, both running Leopard on Intel macs. everytime they open it, is does the Firefox was downloaded from the internet...are you sure you want to open it message. Is there some way of making this message not come up anymore? I upgraded both of them to FF 3.5.2 and OS 10.5.8 and it still comes up everytime.

I also tried that already, still no luck.

Did you just trash Firefox, or did you really uninstall it. ie. using an app like appzapper or appcleaner, or removing the Application Support folder for Firefox manually?

This message should only pop up the first time you open Firefox (or any app for that matter).

If you didn't delete said file, then head over to

User Name/Library/Application Support/ and delete the folder Firefox.

Hope this helps.
