I've noticed poor battery life while only surfing the web. I downloaded the graphics info app to find that my dedicated graphics card was on all the time. Afte some testing I realized it was firefox 4 beta 12 that was causing it.

I have no addons installed and simply launching the app causes the graphics switch. Not until I explicity kill firefox does it go back to integrated graphics.

Safari does not seem to have this issue.

Any suggestions?

Yep that's the app that I used to check. I guess I could control it manually but was hoping for firefox to act like safari in that regard.
