I had a similar problem, which ended when I downloaded the latest version of Flash for Firefox.

Its hard to say not knowing what version you're using.

I just migrated to 4, it's more stable than earlier builds and the fastest yet.

Even better is Chrome 10, the recent release. It's the best browser yet. At least in my experience.

Firefox 4 here. I love it, but it has to be Flash. Yes, the crashing occurs a lot in Firefox, but when I let the beachball load up, it would say sorry Flash crashed, would you like to send a report?

Anyway, I would point my attention towards Adobe <_<.
