Hi,
I just recently stopped using Xmarks (previously FoxMarks) in Firefox because the CPU load was ridiculously high with it installed. I uninstalled it and the CPU usage dropped from about 40% to 5%. Now there seems to be a new problem though; whenever I "wake" my computer from its screen saver mode (not actually sleeping) the CPU usage of Firefox goes way up to 30-40% when absolutely no changes have been made. This is baffling me and is very annoying to have to relaunch Firefox every time.
Anybody have any clue what could be causing this?
Thanks
