i'm running firefox 3.6 on my ppc mac g4 desktop. i just replaced the system hard drive due to recommendations on this forum because firefox and other apps kept crashing. well, here i am w/a brand new essentially empty drive crashing away again. what gives?

maybe it is problem with firefox? try safari or camino...

camino, firefox, and safari all crash within seconds of opening. i'm wondering if this is a flash issue. my flash version is 9,0,246,0. i think i need 10,3,181,35 but i can't seem to find a download for it. just when i think i've found it, it's a dead link. btw, my os is 10.4.11

you would actually need Flash 10.1

yes i do. if only i could find it now. thought it would be simple. not so much. somebody posted a link for old mac apps. i downloaded the version i needed, but when i opened the folder on my desktop there were a bunch of zip files with gibberish titles. i have NO idea what to do with these things. and i thought this would be an easy fix...
