Firefox displaying asian characters in address bar

For some reason in firefox, when I clikc the drop down bar, it shows the URLs in English but the titles in some Asian language. I've tried going to system preferences and making sure the only language ther is English and I've used tinkertools to remove the extraneous languages. Yet it still does it! Does anyone else have this problem?
