Firefox download menu bug

I may have found a bug in Firefox 1.0, can someone please try this to see whether it's just my system or not.

1. Start Firefox.
2. Go to Tools -> Downloads.
3. Close the main Firefox window.
4. Try to access any of the menus (except for the Apple or Firefox menus).

On my system, the menus highlight but don't open. Can anyone reproduce this?

It seems that it's a known bug.
