Anyone know of a program that tells you your surfing/download speed realtime?

Would like to know if im getting the download speed im paying for?

Firefox for Windows.

Thanks

mmmm, can't you just download a big file and observe the speed in download manager?

Something along the bottom activity bar, unobtrusive.
i m on my cell now, so can't copy and paste url.

u can goto firefox addon site, search for 'info'. there are several extensions for that. most of them are firefox 2 only.

webpages are small, so it download time, speed are mostly not an accurate test of ur bandwidth.

The Istat pro widget is probably the best thing. It'll measure your total download speed (all apps)
