Firefox DownThemAll

I run into this problem a lot and it bothers me because I have to open up Safari if I want to continue browsing the web... If I'm downloading something through Firefox's add-on 'DownThemAll' and I close out of my browsing window, firefox won't let me open up a new window. I try through the menubar (file -> new window) but it's not an option. Does anyone have a solution to this? Am I just over-looking something simple?

I have the same problem. A solution would be great!

Well after thinking about it for a bit, I just tried using Command-N, and that seemed to work to bring up a new window. It looks like that's the only fix at this point.
