Firefox freezing on iPhone

Hi - I have a weird, occasional issue with Firefox on my iPhone 8 (yes, I know...).

Sometimes, if I switch to another app and then back to FF, it is frozen. Nothing within the app works, but it does appear. I then need to close and reopen it. No big deal, but frustrating over the course of a few hours.

Has anyone else experienced similar? Both phone and app up-to-date.

I have an iPhone 15 Pro and noticed that Firefox is laggy as hell since iOS 17. Screen remains frozen for a period of time after going to a new page or tab. No back button, no scroll, no other buttons available for several seconds. It's not a good experience if you are browsing through multiple tabs.
