This is my first post, I am new to Mac (and loving it) so be kind!!!!

I like Firefox as a web browser, but the only problem I am having is with Hotmail.

The problem is two fold, when I receive a new email and MSN Messenger notifies me of this. I click on the dialog box and it opens Firefox and takes me into Hotmail. Then Firefox tries to open the email, but fails every time and it sends me to my inbox. I then have to click on the individual email (which is already marked as read).

The other problem is when clicking on reply to a message in Hotmail, Firefox (most of the time) does not bring the email into the reply. Rather, Firefox opens up a blank new message addressed to the person I am replying.

I hope that is clear and I hope you all can help.

Thanks for the help, but it did not fix the problem. I am pretty sure the problem is on Firefox's end. If I change my default browser to Safari, it works just fine.
