Firefox in snow leopard crazy memory hog

Before upgrading to snow leopard firefox was relatively low memory usage. After the upgrade firefox is around 600-700mb after just 20 mins of use.

Anyone else have this problem with snow leopard. If so what could be causing it?

obviously, snow leopard causes it. lol

Im not sure, I will wait for SL's bug got iron out before installing it.

in the mean time, try a new firefox with a new profile, at least that can help figuring out where the problem is.
