firefox issues

i'm running firefox 1.5.0.7 on my MBP.

lately i've noticed that firefox will not open links (i have to manually right click on them and click open in new window or new tab)

also i can't update my blog from firefox.

all this works fine in safari.

any suggestions?

Disable any extensions not provided by Mozilla and change to the default theme and see if it continues to do it.

If it still does not work, then reinstall
