FireFox Kills My Memory, Anyone else?

I use Safari, but I also use FF for certain sites, and if I leave it on for too long, my MB fans start whirring up and FF starts taking up %50 of my memory. What's up with that?

Firefox beta has been working great for me... Not sure what firefox version you're using. Safari is horrible with its memory leak. Firefox is much better IMO

QFT I switched over to the beta 3 of FF and it works fine now

Deviantart.com I usually keep it open and after it stays on for while it just eats it up. So then I have to Quit and relaunch FF and it stays good for awhile.

mine is the same, only my new fire fox (latest version) keeps quitting on its own when left un attended for more than a moment??

if you are using firefox 2. and do not want to try out firefox 3 beta5, I think you might want to create a new profile
