Firefox Launching Unexpectedly

I've been having a small problem with FireFox lately. Everytime I turn on my computer, FireFox launches by itself after the dock appears. I loaded up the browser preferences menu and I've looked for something like "startup" or "launch" but so far nothing. I was wondering if I could get any suggestions on how to fix this problem. Any and all help is appreciated.

Aluminum iMac 20"
Intel Core 2 Duo; 2.4GHz
4 GB of RAM
OS X 10.5.6
