I'll preface my question by saying that a) Yes, I searched the previous threads and b) while I'm not a complete Mac n00b I only know the very basics. Prior to my current machine I was a PC owner of many years.
The question: While using Firefox to view video clips, I run across a problem (?) with viewing the video itself. I'll find that after opening up a video clip, letting it load completely and giving it enough time to buffer, I'm coming across points where the video will stop and then jump ahead or lag in places.
Where I find/view the video itself doesn't seem to matter - had this happen on everything from YouTube to CNN. I assumed that it was a problem with memory allocation but I can't seem to find a way to increase what's allocated to Firefox and I'm not sure if this the solution anyway.
Any thoughts on how to address the issue? Thanks.
