Hello!

Last week I installed firefox on my mac note book, tiger version 10.4.9.
After working fine for a few minutes, the internet connection was cut off. I tried using my safari browser that I had installed before, but it did not work either...Now it has been like that for a week:mad:

When I connect with a wire, the safari browser works fine though, but the wireless is still dead...I have a signal, and it says on the airport that it is connected to my network, however, I still cant connect to the internet on the wirless...

I got professional help through my internet company, costing 3 dollars per minute but they still dont know what it is!!!!

Does anyone have a suggestion what to do?? I am getting desperate now...

I would be very thankful for some guidance...

Correlation does not imply causation. In other words, it's just a coincidence.

Firefox did *nothing* to your wireless connection. I absolutely guarantee it.

Firefox is not the culprit. You're still on 10.4.9 ??

If I were you, I'd start by invoking Software Update and get yourself on 10.4.11 first and foremost, as well as the myriad of security updates I'm sure your system is missing.
