Firefox no longer works with Mac OS X 10.5

Firefox just sent me this message. They are saying get a new computer or be vulnerable. Any comments about this?

10.5 sucked pretty hard. Why not update to 10.6? The only limiting factor would be a PPC processor, in which case you're long overdue anyway.

While 10.5 was one of Apple's better OS's, it's five years old OS that's been replaced three times. Mozilla can't keep supporting something that's holding it back.
