Is it possible to get Firefox's icon in the dock to display an "open new window" option when clicked? This is an option for Finder's and Safari's icons.

but if I were working with another application, I'd have to click the FF icon, bring up the last window, and then use that command. Being able to right click it and tell it to open a new windows is much more efficient in my opinion
...anyone? Considering how popular FF is, I imagined that there would be more enthusiasm for this

Firefox is popular, but that really means little, if you consider firefox's popularity actually has something to do with its beautiful single window mode. Multiple windows mode seems never been attractive for many, if not most firefox users.
Another thing is there are many launching parameters of firefox probably doesn not work on OSX.
