Firefox Passcode Does not Work

I have created a passcode in Firefox using both the passcode and TouchID to be required immediately on both an iPad and iPhone and everytime I open the app it opens right up and does not require the passcode or TouchID. Does anyone use this and how did you get it to work, if you did?
