Is there any way to make the following configuration simultaneously possible on one Mac on one user account?
- Firefox uses Schubert-It's plug-in (or any lightweight plugin -- but not Adobe's!
)
- Safari uses the built-in PDF rendering
Or is it possible to use the built-in (QT?) PDF rendering in Firefox?
Basically, I like the PDF rendering that Safari does by itself the best. That's my first preference. But when I use Firefox, it doesn't seem to be able to use the system capability, and so I need a plugin. I don't want to use Adobe's, because it's slow and heavy, yada yada, and Schubert-It's is very nice. So I install that. But then the problem is that both Safari and FF use it.
Maybe I'm just being bitchy?
