Firefox Speeddial addon set as mainpage.

Dear members, I just reinstalled firefox 3.5 and added back all my addons and when I got to speeddial, I could not set it as my mainpage (start up). Something has changed in the prefs. Could I get some help please?

you mean homepage?

goto preference and set "chrome://speeddial/content" as homepage.

Yes home page. But that did not work.

okay, first, lets make sure we are talking about the same addon, is this the one you are using? https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/4810

then, use "chrome://speeddial/content/speeddial.xul" as homepage, as shown in the pic attached

I went into Preferences and set current pages as my home page, of which speed dial was one. That worked.

I just tried this myself. Seems you have to go into Firefox Preferences and set the Homepage to Use Current Page while Speedial is the active tab to set it as your homepage, as stated above.
