Firefox sync with OS X and iOS

Hey guys,

got the app Foxbrowser.

I´m using firefox on my mac, sadly there is no firefox app for iOs.


So I got Foxbrowser, Foxbrower offers me these letters:

a b c d
e f g h
i j k l

and I need to go on my computer with firefox and "add a new computer" (don´t now right translation, I need to add a device).

So I go to my firefox settings and I see this:

I´m missing the option "add a new device" or something like that to put in the letters from my phone.

If I google "firefox sync" I get lot´s of instructions, but non of them helps, because there is no option to add a device on my mac into firefox.

On screenshot you have a window just over sync settings where should be text Pair a device. You click on it and enter code.

There is just my e-mail, that is the reason why there is a extra window.

Are you sure you set up sync on this computer?

It uses the old sync functionality that is no longer available. The old sync uses 3 strings you need to enter, the new sync uses an e-mail address (or to be more precise: it uses a Firefox account). You still have the option to use your own sync server though. Foxbrowser needs to be updated and implement the new Firefox sync.
