Firefox stopped asking me to save tabs when quitting with multiple tabs open.

I believe the preferences are set correctly; the "Warn me when closing multiple tabs" option is checked.

Now, all it does is save them automatically. So when I quit with, say, five tabs open, next time I open Firefox it automatically launches these five tabs -- even when I don't want to.

Help, please?

Thank you.

HD/Users/YourUserName/Library/Preferences/org.mozilla.firefox.plist

Move that to the Desktop
Start Firefox (this makes a new default plist)
Try it. If it works, Trash that plist on the Desktop. Reset your Preferences manually.

If it doesn't, you might want to put it back where it came from, to restore your preferences more easily.

Then, try Firefox from a different user account. Better now??

Thanks, but it didn't work...

and I don't have any other users on this computer to check it from...

some else, perhaps?

No. Create one. You should have at least two accounts anyway, so the second one can be used for troubleshooting in instances like this.

Go to System Preferences > Accounts and click the + sign.
