Deep Space
Since Firefox 5 was introduced this occurs several times a day:

I click on an icon on my tool bar or the back button, and I get the spinning ball of death.

Firefox is now completely frozen for about 1 to 3 minutes. Then the spinning ball goes away and you can continue.

Has anybody else had issues like this?

Or may my copy be damaged by a crash?

Firefox trouble

also had problems as soon as the old Firefox became the new Firefox,
only with me, kept knocking me off of my wifi connection/network. (Happened several times in about 15 minutes and, while no incontrovertible truth Firefox was the culprit, truth is that when I switched back to Safari, haven't mysteriously lost my connection yet.)

Will eventually go back to Firefox, but now remembering those things I
liked about Safari.

The bookmarking is so much better in Safari. It's basically drag and drop.
