Firefox Untrusted Connection

Both macs running in my house are getting "Untrusted Connection" errors while using different websites (facebook, twitter, gmail, college website) on firefox but my other windows laptops do not. Is this a mac problem or some other known issue?

BTW I have read that resetting the clock could fix this issue but it has not worked for me

Have you upgraded to 4 yet or are you still rocking 3?

Firefox 4 on both mac and windows machines

And if it makes a difference the windows laptop is on windows 7 and the two macs are on 10.6.7

First open System Preferences->Network, advanced buttom and make sure you DNS is set correctly. Then read the MacWorld article Bugs & Fixes: Troubleshooting Apple's malware protection and download and run Safe Download Version Adds Manual Definitions Update and run it. See if you got one of the Trojans that went around.
