Between Heaven and Hell
Hi i just updated my firefox beta (security and stability update). Since then i can't flip between taps using the trackpad touch gesture (the two fingers move). I wonder if anybody updated recently had the same the problem?

I raised a bug about this.

Here is the response:

We disabled the rotate gesture because people considered it to be too easy to
trigger accidentally (bug 491925).

You can set browser.gesture.twist.right to Browser:NextTab and
browser.gesture.twist.left to Browser:prevTab if you want them on again.

Seems fair enough to me. Good that we can fix it outselves

Thank you very much Chris. I just enabled the gesture back. Though i still think they should put it as a default and then put an option in preferences so people can disable it if they want! anyway this is the way to enable it for anybody interested, a bit clearer than Chris description:

This feature can configured manually in about:config. Search
for "browser.gesture.twist" and set values of
"browser.gesture.twist.left" to "Browser:prevTab" and
"browser.gesture.twist.right" to "Browser:NextTab".
