Hi, all. I just updated to Firefox 9 and now whenever I start it up, it immediately uses up around 200 mb of RAM with one tab open. I've tried clearing history, cache, cookies. I've reinstalled different versions of the browser. I can't figure out what the reason for it is. Any opinions on whether this issue is related to Lion or just an issue with Firefox itself?

There's nothing wrong. 200MB of RAM isn't out of line for a browser. Besides, you're not paging out at all and have plenty of available memory, so why worry about it? Mac OS X manages memory quite well, without the need for user involvement.
