Hi all. I'm having trouble with firefox on my eMac. When I try to run it, it bounces the icon and the pegs the CPU, and sits there. This only happens on one profile! No others.
I've removed my Library/Application Support/Firefox folder, and it still does it. Any ideas? After i remove that folder, relaunch the application, it does recreate the folder, but still the browser doesn't open, and the CPU sits at 100%

Thanks in advance!

Do you have anything in ~/Library/Internet-Plugins/ that's not in the other users plugins folder, that might have been corrupted...?

Also: Are you still on 10.3/Panther or have you just upgraded (or archived and installed your way up) to 10.4/Tiger...?

Solved!

MANY THANKS Mitthrawnuruodo! It isn't my local plugins, those are empty, but the plugins in the Library folder, under the Mac. HD are what's doing it. If i move that folder to my desktop, then start firefox, it loads. I'm going to load them back one at a time - thanks for pointing me in the right direction!
Nick :D
