when i use this browser everytime i have to eject the icon from the desktop everytime when i'm done surfing...why?...safari doesn't do this...

You didn't install the browser correctly. You have to drag the icon in the disk image to your Applications folder, then use that one, NOT the one inside the disk image.

I think wrldwzrd89 has it, you downloaded a disk image that contains the Firefox application. Each time you 'launch' it the Firefox app is extracted and shows up on the desktop. Just drag the Firefox icon to your Applications folder. Then track down the disk image (downloads folder ?) and throw that away.
