is anyone concerned about firesheep. i haven't found to much on it. besides not using public wifi is there any precautions we can take ie. software or settings to block it?

firesheep say you? Good it is! :D

if on a non encrypted wifi use https, if on an encrypted one do nothing.

You can go to the next step if on a Wifi - VPN. I used OverPlay VPN - monthly costs but very secure (sniffers cannot see ANY traffic except the encrypted VPN) and as a bonus you can watch TV online from overseas (eg BBC iPlayer, US Content while not in the US, etc.)

Cheers
