Hello Everyone,

I got a new-to-me MacBook.
Since it is more likely to be stolen than my Desktop, I decided to turn on FireVault.
It's currently deleting my old home directory but it seems to be stuck.
According to System Preferences -> Security, it is 68% done. It's been that way for a while.
I looked at Activity Monitor and Secure Erase is using between 20 and 80 percent of CPU.

I've used macs for years, but never fire vault. Is this normal?
